Worst feeling ever.
So I'm here today to talk about one of the most helpless feelings you'll ever have. Here's the scenario, you're sound asleep in the middle of the night. It's pitch black in your room and you wake up for a second to shift how you are laying. Then, it happens. Your pillow falls off the head of your bed and you lie there for at least a minute thinking, "great, what the hell am I gonna do now, I don't have a pillow." Granted, you feel much better after you realize where your pillow went, but for those few seconds, you just feel helpless, lost, alone, scared, and you want your mommy. Now, this feeling can be devastatingly worse if you have a lofted bed that is more than 3 feet off the ground. As I found out my freshman year when my bed was lofted about 5 feet off the ground. My room mate was telling me the next day that he saw me straining to reach my fallen pillow from my bed. He found the sight all too funny, especially since I could only reach a little over halfway to the floor without falling out of the bed. So, not only would this be more helpless, it's also more annoying, because then I had to actually get up and climb down and get it. Come to think of it, I don't think I got up, I'm pretty sure I just slept without a pillow that night.
In other news, I woke up in the middle of class today, but I wasn't there. Damn sleep walking, never happens when you need it. I woke up at 10:15 for my 10:00 class. The thing that bugs me about that is, if I had had a 9:00 class, I probably would've woken up at 9:15. Just to spite... myself? Whatever.
I'm to see the wizard.
Have a nice summer!
