Not too shabby...

So the day went well actually. I was quite surprised. The nicest part aboot the whole thing was that my dad and step-mom spent the entire time after we unloaded the cars, putting together my futon. Apparently it was difficult. So, while they were doing that I unpacked everything and organized it how I wanted it. With no input from anyone else. It was supoibulous. So now I'm all moved back in to Eau Claire. Tim one of the three roommates is here already, he was just finishing unloading when we got here. He seems pretty cool, not exactly what I expected, which is a good thing. Well, not much to say for now, if I think of something, I'll be sure to let you know. In the mean time, Have a nice summer!

AHHHH!!!

They're driving me nuts already! My god.... First off, I ended up helping my dad build the trellace, however the hell you spell it, over the deck in the backyard. Well, the only issue I ahd with that was that I wanted to be packing the cars so I didn't have to do it tonight. Well eventually he finally let me go do the stuff that I had started. That's one thing that really really bugs me, starting something and then not finishing and then starting something else, I just can't do it. He let me go back to what I was doing, I got everything brought upstairs and ready to pack into the cars and then bam, he asks me to help again, as it turns out, for about 3 hours, not 10 minutes like I had hoped. So I'm already a little on edge. Then I finally get to go back to my packing again, I got my entire car packed, so tight I could barely shut the doors or the trunk. So there really wasn't much left to put in my dad's truck. Apparently the futon, which is still i

Thinking...

Sometimes things seem to just get stuck in my head, and I can't stop thinking about them. Then when I try to do something else, it just gets worse. Then the worst part, and oddest of it all, is when I finally forget what was bothering me, then all I want to do is try to remember what the heck it was. AND THEN... I remember and it starts bothering me again, it's a vicious cycle. On another note... I was talking to Joe from UWEC earlier tonight, and he brought up the idea of finding some sort of weekend activity at college that doesn't involve drinking. Mine is Copp's Food Center, although there are times when I wish that DID involve drinking. I think I'm gonna research this a bit, and try to come up with something alternative to do each weekend this semester. We'll call it.. "Alcoholics Alternatives" I think that's pretty good for completely off the top of my head... I'll start it next week, and do it every thursday. Have a nice summe

hahaha, work is such a joke...

So, I spent somewhere around 4.5 hours today studying up on some very important information. Pertaining to what you ask?? Well, fantasy football. And yes, I got paid for it. :) I moved everything in my dad's office to another office so there was room for the new salesman, that took a couple hours, so I figured that was enough work for me for the day, now tomorrow I have to build a computer and do a little programming in excel. Should at least be a little busier than today, when I sat and watched the entire download and installation of Windows XP SP2. That was quite exciting. I talked to two of my three room mates thus far, they all sound pretty cool, also seem like they like to party. That's either good or bad, I'm not sure. However the third room mate is mysterious... He hasn't talked to anybody yet, and we've all sent him emails. I've tried to call him twice now, and left a message this afternoon for him to call me when he gets out of work. So hopefully he

Returning from Randomness

It's been a while hasn't it? Well, if you figured out the random order of those audio posts then you heard that I was at least alive, and so is David. With "The Waitresses" playing in the background I feel inspired to recall my adventures of the previous week. As a note, the dates of the trip were Monday August 16 - Saturday August 21. Day One: The alarm went off at a far too early 7:00am and was abruptly shut off. As it turns out, since I was using my cell phone for an alarm I shouldn't have set it precariously teetering on the edge of my dresser. Well, apparently it vibrates when the alarm goes off, so as quickly as it started making annoying noises intended to awake me from my slumber, it stopped. Then I rolled over and woke up at 7:30 to my cat, who had decided that my neck was a good place to plop down for a nap. Upon removal of the large amounts of cat fur from my mouth, I got up, only to find a household in disarray full of bags ready to be loaded int

Missing you...

Well, I'm back in Wisconsin Rapids. I don't have any problem with the trip down to Des Moines, it's the trip back that I don't like. Every mile getting further and further away... So sad... so very sad... Hopefully 6 hours in a canoe with my dad will keep my mind off from it. Probably not. He already started in on me tonight. Ugh... This time because I decided to have my mom get me new golf clubs for my b-day present instead of just having her give me the money so I could pay for the repair to my car. Speaking of which, I'll update you all. Apparently the Pass-loc security system malfunctioned, so they had to replace it. The part was $163 which wouldn't be so bad, but the labor was also $163... :( I wasn't happy, but I also really wanted golf clubs. So, since the closest thing to a present that I got so far for my birthday was a gas card for Kwik Trip, I decided to go with the clubs. Now I just have to get out to the driving range. But for now

Hulk Angry!!!

So, I finally got back to Appleton. Family reunion was essentially a bunch of drunk people I didn't know. How fun! So... now... I got to Appleton cleaned out my car and then David called. Then I three-wayed in Curtis and we decided to go to IHOP. Well, I was going to pick everyone up, so a few minutes later I drove over and picked up Curt. Then off to David's we went. Arrived at David's, shut the car off, and went in to find him. He put up an away message and we were off. Well, almost. Went outside, got in the car, and when I turned the key, it just turned over.. and over and over and over. But wouldn't fire. Well, isn't that great. So then after we screw around with it for a bit I called my Uncle, he came over to David's for a good 2 hours. Nothing. So... we left it at Davids and took his van and went and did stuff. That was last night, but now today... I called up my insurance company, and towing is covered, so there's a little good news in

How do you like it??

So, I decided that since I'm going to be A.F.T.I. for a while I'd change things up a bit, do a little house cleaning. Let me know how you like it. And I'll have the minipolls back up when I create some new one's. As for now I'm heading to bed. I had 4 shots tonight, and a few bottles of smirnoff. I feel nothing. The shots were of Rumple Minz, I believe it's 80 or 100 proof. Potent stuff, :) So anyway, I'm off to bed, have the lovely family reunion tomorrow. I hope my mom didn't forget that we didn't celebrate my birthday yet. It's easy to forget though, ya know, I am her only son. Well, gotta be going now. Hope you like the new site! Have a nice summer! P.S. AFTI = Away From The Internet
Alrighty I'm all moved out of Eau Claire, ended up with a slightly disappointing B+ in calc. Friday August 6: Moved out of EC, in Rapids for the night. Saturday August 7: Family Reunion in Nekoosa, just south of Rapids, for my mom's family, should be just a dandy of a time, maybe there will be a lake that my sister and I can try drowning each other in. Sunday August 8: Back to Appleton I head, if anyone wants to do something call my cell, I know David and I are hanging out at some point. Maybe sunday night or monday night we can have a gathering at shark's. Monday August 9: Still in Appleton. Tuesday August 10: Leave for Brodhea

If history repeats itself then someone else has already been sitting in a big leather chair, feet propped up on the bed with the tunes of CCR and Boston playing on the stereo, reading through the vast number of blogs available on the internet. All while watching the time tick slowly by. The pillow looking rather inviting, though no sleep was had. Visions of delta, epsilon, and integrals spread like wildfire in the dry forest of a brain, slightly fogged either by the smoke or the lack of sleep. The calculus book propped open by the notebook of knowledge soon to be forgotten. So many notebooks have come and gone. So many of them gone unnoticed, and unmentioned. Though once containing information of the utmost importance, now forced to a life of decomposing solitude. With any luck, given a new life, given a second chance, the joy of renewal. The neverending drone of a fan and the glow of the flourescent lights giving the false sense of sun and a warm yet cool breeze. A long y
