so this is funny, I just was reading something from the democratic party about them officially listing kerry as the winner of the debate today. Then I read this, "Take Action We all know what happened in 2000. Al Gore won the first debate on the issues, but Republicans stole the post-debate spin. We not going to let that happen again -- but we need your help." We not going to eh? How nice... I didn't change it either, Check it out. Vote Bush/Cheney '04 and Have a nice summer!

Bah

Just to prove you wrong. The debate was interesting, only got to see the second half of it. But oh well, I'm sure it'll be on again. I'm waiting for something to inspire me to write a good post... so far... nothing. I'm sure I'll be back with more someday. But for now... look through the old one's listen to the old audio posts if you're bored. Have a nice summer!

hehehe

So I was sittin' here trying to think of ways to attract more people to my site, then I realized that the majority of the random people that come to the site come from google searchs of things that I've talked about. So I decided to make a list of things that may draw in some people just to get my counter way up there! :) There have been 83 visits since September 16th, let's see how fast that gets doubled or tripled, or sextupled, 'cause that's a fun word. So, I'm thinking people will respond to things like Girls Gone Wild Torrents, or just Torrents in general, and maybe Garden State, or What is the average air speed velocity of an unladen swallow? Maybe... Free Ipod! or... Free Condoms... But really, I'm thinking, the promise of porn is the way to go, Free Porn! Oh, and check out this site that David showed me, regarding the election. Have a nice summer!

Willow Lounge...

I sit down on the couch in Davie's, in the Willow Lounge, a very comfortable place to relax and study. "Glad you're done with English?" says the girl sitting on the couch across from me. Confused I say, "um... Oh! you mean last fall?" She says, "yes." But I still can't recognize her. We chat about things, classes, professors, whatever. The entire time I'm thinking, "Where did she sit in English, why don't I recognize her?" Then I ask her if she ever found out what she got on the research paper in English 110 last fall. As it turns out, now she's confused because she didn't write a research paper for English. Hmmmm. Then she tells me the name of her professor that she had. "oh, I had Hagenson," I reply. So that's it, she wasn't in my English class, great, so where the hell do I know her from. Now we are both just sitting there baffled. After about five minutes she says, "Did you take any summer cl

Lazy eh???

Well, yes actually I have been quite lazy. I didn't study for my Spanish quiz until this morning, a bit before I took it, I didn't write my paper for my Student Success Seminar class until this morning, again, last minute. But as Joe said so eloquently, "old habits die hard." I am changing that however. This weekend was rather uneventful, went to work Friday night, nothing exciting. Saturday I donated my time with the group I just joined, the College Republicans. I attended the International Festival and Parade in lovely downtown Eau Claire. Walked along side our local Republican candidate running for congress, Dale Schultz, running against Ron Kind. Handed out many a sticker to eager children, and some even more eager adults. Although, there was one guy.... (sounds like a story coming on doesn't it?) Well, here it comes... So here we are, Evan, the head of the UWEC College Republicans, Ben, treasurer, and me, standing by the Bush/Cheney booth set up for th

Changes...

I've made some changes this evening. I added a calendar and in it put my current school schedule for this semester. I will also be putting my work schedule in there, as well as any other things I have on my agenda. I recommend the "weekly view" instead of looking at the whole month. A more subtle change would be that the taskbar at the top of the page is now silver instead of blue. Isn't that gweat!?!? Moved things around a bit, like the guestmap link, and explained what it is. oh! and I almost forgot! I now have had over 1,000 visitor's to my humble little site. Though the majority are repeats from the few regulars, I still am happy to see that many, makes me feel all warm and tingly inside. :) Well, I have a quiz at 8am in my econ class, but you already knew I have an econ class because you looked at my calendar, right?? Alright, good day everyone. Have a nice summer! EDIT: I also added a chat room now, so if some of us are on at the same time we can

Oh happy day...

I just finished reading a neat article. It's politic related, but not really, it's interesting, enjoy. This morning I woke up and checked my email, as I do everyday. Only today was different, I was really tired. In my tiresome stupor I came upon what I thought to be a mirage. Could it be? An email from my Econ professor that class was cancelled at 8:00 this morning!?!?! YES, it was! What joy followed only to be overcome by me springing back into bed and falling back to sleep for an extra hour and a half. What a wonderful start to the day. Especially after the Packers dominating win over the Carolina Panthers last night. I hope you were all there to see the start of the decline of the Super Bowl runnerup. I had my chem lecture again yesterday. It is taught by Thao Yang I believe that's his name, and he thinks that we're five-year-olds. I will give you some quotes from my professor, if you can call him that. These are off from his powerpoints, directly, and unal

Random....

Here's a question for you. If you were to leave a post complaining about something on somebody else's site, what would you leave your name as? Leave your responses as a comment or on the message board. Now, let's get down to business. I rearranged my room, now I look out the window instead of at the plain white walls. Speaking of plain white walls I got some posters! Yes, I actually decorated. I got a Donnie Darko Poster , a Jimmy Eat World poster , and a Franz Ferdinand poster . They're pretty cool. If you haven't heard of Franz Ferdinand and would like a sample, let me know, I can send you a song or fifteen. Joe introduced me to them, or at least their music, and I like it a lot. Obviously, since I bought a poster. Here's a one-act play since Kyle isn't updating his site... RYAN is rearranging his room. The power strip is located under the bed next to the desk. RYAN is listening to music and attempting to plug things in. RYAN bends down under be

The other half....

I was sittin' in Econ today and decided to start writing out a post, since all the prof was doing was telling us about what we were supposed to have read already. Boooooring. So here's what I've started, I'll finish it tonight. I sit here wondering... Wondering where we'll be, what will happen. Then I stop and think "why worry about it?" Why not just enojoy the time we have now and not worry about the future. Currently, however, a week, one full week, would be fabulous. Fantabulous in fact. Economics at 8:00 am with a teacher from Portugal is enough to make your mind wander indefinitely. She just took attendance, TWICE! "Just to be sure." As she put it. And now explained that in "Efficiencey vs. Equity" the "vs." stands for versus. Because obviously we're in fourth grade again. She underlined the key words in her definition of economics, the word "and" was underlined twice, for whatever reason that just do

You want it you got it...

New post! This is the first official post from Eau Claire. The other one wasn't official because all the room mates and friends weren't actually here yet. So here we go. First off, I'd like to take a step back to my vacation to Upper Michigan. On our first day when my mom and step-dad went into town to buy wood, they encountered some locals. Although this would turn out to be more entertaining than frightening. They went to the gas station, or so they thought. First there was an Amoco sign by the road, they pulled in, and there were no gas pumps. Apparently it used to be a gas station, but they forgot to take the sign down or something. Well they went down the road a little way and got to the real gas station that looked nothing like a gas station at all. They purchased gas and some firewood and noticed the laundromat across the street. My mom inquired about the laundromat as far as hours and that sort of thing, thinking that if she needed to she could do laundry sinc
