Just give me one second!

I feel ok. Not bad, but not great either. However, I feel a heck of a lot better than I had anticipated I would. So, here's my night, from what I remember to what I've been told.

I had a few drinks at home, 3 to be exact, while waiting for Tim and Dan to get here. Tim, Dan, Jim, and I left for Brothers at about 10:30pm. We arrived there and I was immediately bought a drink from a guy I'd never met, some baseball player from La Crosse that was supposed to be playing against the Eau Claire Express but it got rained out. Well, I had that drink, and also Jim got me a shot and a malibu and cranberry juice, at least I think that's what it was. So I had two drinks and a shot in front of me, before I even finished one of the drinks they had a couple more shots for me. All told at Brothers I had 3 drinks, a beer, and probably about 10 shots some of which were amazingly disgusting. Also, Jamie and Andy from Copps were there helping celebrate. I got my free mug with the beer and we decided to go to The Nasty Habit. It was only about a block away, I kinda wished it were further 'cause I wanted a little time before drinks were being poured down my throat again. Anyway, we got into Nasty and I went to the bathroom, I got out and there was a screwdriver waiting for me, I think it was from Andy, I'm not sure. At this point I left the party. Well, not physically, but I couldn't tell you what else happened at Nasty. The only thing I remember after this point until I woke up in the morning was the bartender saying that they had to take me home because I was passing out at the bar, and I remember yelling "just give me a second!" while I was laying on the sidewalk, which I'm told was right after I had puked. Apparently I was unable to walk after we left the bars. So I had one arm around Dan's shoulders and one arm around Jim's. I apparently kept telling them both how much I hated them and how much I loved them, I assume I hated them for all of the shots they made me drink, and I think I loved them for carrying me home. Well, I also apparently talked to David during the "walk" home. He found this to be quite hilarious and I think he said he took some voice recordings of our conversation. I really want to hear those, that ought to be interesting. I guess we got back up the hill and as soon as we were in the apartment, after not being able to walk, I walked into my room and jumped up onto my bed. They put my garbage can on my desk with a big glass of water and I was O-U-T out. Until 7:30 this morning when I woke up and surprisingly didn't feel like I was going to die. So all in all it was a great night, Jamie took some pictures so I can't wait to see those. Maybe my memory will come back. Dan thanked me for getting us kicked out of Nasty because that was one of the few bars on Water St. he'd never gotten kicked out of.

So there you have it, the story of my night. It was pretty fun, well, at least what I remember of it was. Thanks for all the Happy Birthday wishes, oh, and I hope the tag-board starts working again, I can't even get on their website to yell at them about it. Anyhoo...

Have a nice summer!
