That's like making fun of a handicapped kid
What a great weekend. I haven't drank that much, and still felt this good in the morning, in a long time. It was truly awesome.
Origionally, when I was thinking about making this post I was going to recap the events from the weekend. But, I don't know what to say. I could recap Friday night quite easily, along with all day yesterday, but aside from drinking Friday night and bowling yesterday neither were that eventful. But last night, well, frankly it's still a bit of a blur.
So maybe I'll recap what I know of last night...
After a mind numbing nearly 2 hour conversation on AIM (there may be more on this at a later date) David and I had to take a shot. That was the pregame. Then the lasagna finished cooking, I burnt some garlic bread. Smoke detectors started going off it was so bad. So I baked a new batch of garlic bread, and we ate dinner. Well, shortly after everybody was finished eating, I was standing in the kitchen and David was sitting on the couch in the living room and we looked at one another. David made a drinking motion with his hand, and I swear I heard a gunshot and someone yell, "let the drinking begin!" So with that, the night commenced. Our first three drinks were gone in roughly 15 minutes. The second two taking a mere 4-5 minutes total, including mixing time. Gotta love it when someone yells, "To the bottom!" right after you mixed a drink. I believe Tara made the comment that she was trying to think of ways to encourage us to start drinking, but now she realized that we didn't really need the encouragement after all. Well, we watched Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle, Shaun of the Dead, and Dodgeball. To put the night into perspective without trying to go into details that I'm not too certain of, I'll say it like this. I remember all of Harold and Kumar, I remember a lot of Shaun of the Dead, and I vaguely remember seeing any of Dodgeball.
I remember David bumping me which made me spill my drink on my lap. Then, what I believe was a little bit after that, I was brushing my teeth. After that, the next thing I remember is waking up at about 5:30am to get some water.
All in all, it was a fantabulous night, and a fantabulous weekend.
I can't wait to do it again soon!
Have a nice summer!
