Spring Break '06

So, I'm back in the EC after accumulating nearly 1100 miles on my car without leaving the midwest. I'm quite proud of that actually. People keep asking if I went anywhere exotic for Spring Break, I tell them I did. The part I don't understand is the reaction I get when I tell them I went to Des Moines. I mean come on, that's pretty exotic. There was even a 400 pound pug named Otis that tried to pummel Zoe. Poor Zoe, she was so scared. So, all in all, my Spring Break was good, from Eau Claire, to Milwaukee, to Appleton, to Wisconsin Rapids, to Des Moines, and all the way back to Eau Claire. Overall, it was good.

Now I'd like to look onward toward next year.

Here are my thoughts:

David and I have discussed possibilities for a Spring Break '06 trip. The first choice was road tripping to Florida. Then it turned into a trip to Hawaii. As I said, here are my thoughts.

After watching my room mates video from their trip this past week, I would really like the fun of the road trip. Even if it meant not going to Hawaii. One of the reasons is money, it's a lot cheaper to drive anywhere than it is to fly. The second reason is the fun of the road trip. Obviously if it were just David and me that wouldn't be as much fun. But if we had four or five people, or if we had a van then even more, it would be a good time. I was thinking perhaps going southwest instead of to Florida. Everyone goes to Florida, but who roadtrips from Wisconsin to California?? Me, that's who. So anyway, I really want to go on a road trip. Oh, I just remembered about going to Washington State this summer. That's a good start. But I still think unless we get a hella good deal on Hawaii that we should drive somewhere next Spring Break. So for now, those are my thoughts.

If anybody wants to plan a road trip for next year, let me know around, oh say, December. That'd be good.

But for now, I'm going to go.... place.

Have a nice summer!
