Thank You Super Bowl...

So, the halftime show was a big success. Dave and I were both ready with our spoons, in case it was that bad. As Lewis Black says, describing the Super Bowl halftime show from a few years ago, we have 'nsync, Aerosmith, and Britney Spears, we have a trifecta from hell, But I was lucky, 'cause I had a spoon. And I shoved it up my ass. Why, you might ask? To distract myself from the pain.

Given that, Dave and I were ready. As it turns out, someone made a good halftime show. I credit the great Paul McCartney, and whoever put together the show. The fireworks were great as was the camera work and light display. All in all, it defied all laws that apply to Super Bowl halftime shows.

It was also nice to see fellow saxophonist and Appleton West Alumnus Jim Pluess singing at the beginning of the game. Apparently he's going to West Point now, and had some kind of a story in The Post Crescent back in Appleton.

Anyway, Back to the rest of the game, second half is just starting. Have a nice summer!
