Finally...

A lot of finally's this week...

I finally got back down to Des Moines to visit Tara.
I finally got ahead on my homework and tests.
I finally got Halo 2.
I finally walked up the hill for the first time in weeks.
I finally copied our music for band so we don't have to share one copy between four people.
I finally gave up on getting back into my yahoo account.
I finally figured out just how much egg nog one person can drink before they get a stomach ache.


So, as you can tell this week's been pretty busy. Actually, this week is a breeze, last week was soooooo busy, emphasis on the 'soooooo.'

How come sad songs, in some situations, seem almost romantic?

How come no matter how many times a few minutes late to the bus stop it always seems to be there?

What am I going to do with this free 2 month trial of Xbox Live?

Why does my printer make so much noise?

Why won't the people down the hall take down their Kerry/Edwards campaign sign?

Why does my back hurt every morning? argh... stupid matress

Why are all of the lightbulbs burnt out in the lamps in the lounge?

Why won't the stamp machine let me buy 5 stamps?

Why is Halo so easy to spend hours on, yet homework is awful even for 10 minutes?

I love it when a song that everybody hates comes on the radio and you smile and say I love this song because there's some memory attached to it that makes you remember a wonderful thing that happened....If anybody can come up with an economical and very fast way of traveling oh, say, about 300 miles, let me know....Ann Coulter is very funny....If you don't think she's funny, then you're the reason she's funny....I'm getting a new wireless router and network card for x-mas....Shouldn't college professors be able to speak english fluently...."But tonight girl, it's only you and me"....I dislike work....I don't not dislike not working....which reminds me....I'm not not licking frogs....Itunes is awesome, even if it is a mac thing...."When every thursday, I'd break those mountain passes, you'd skip your early classes, and we'd learn how our bodies work"....I'm gonna get a new cell phone and plan and possibly number....I hope my car gets fixed before Thanksgiving break....I hate hoping....It just leaves room for disappointment....It's kind of like believing in fate ;)....I should go to sleep....What's with all the periods....ahhhh....make it stop....it's....ALIVE....

whew, that was close. So andway, I don't know what just happened, I blacked out for a bit, enjoy.

EC in the summertime..

In theory it's a good idea. No parents, lot's of money from work. Take some extra credits. WRONG! The reality of it all is that until the two of my room mates that are staying for the summer return, I'm going to be bored out of my mind! I've looked in the fridge like 50 times in the last 10 minutes. I watched a movie that was a good way to kill a couple hours, but I just keep thinking, until I start class monday, what can I do in my spare time?? So, any ideas, let me know. Let's see what you guys can come up with, just post them as comments, it'll be a game. We'll see who can come up with the best idea for what Ryan should do when he's bored. Have a nice summer!

RIP Mitch

Mitch Hedberg was found dead in his hotel room yesterday morning. What a sad day. December 27th 2003 David, Mark, and I went to the Rosemont theater in Rosemont, IL. Very near to Chicago. We had tickets to see Lewis Black, Dave Attell, and "Special Guest." I don't think any of us knew who the special guest was, until he was announced. That was probably the coolest part of the trip, not only did we get to see Lewis and Dave, but Mitch Hedberg as special guest. I'm so glad we got to see him. If I remember correctly David and I were going to see him again, but it didn't work out. Now I really wish that would've worked. Anyway, I would like to commemorate this as Mitch Hedberg weekend. I'll put a random Mitch Hedberg joke up as often as I feel like doing. At least one per day. What a terrible loss to the comedy community, you'll be missed.

So, I just woke up at 11:19 or so. Which is only 49 min. late for class. and only 40 min. left in class. So i figured, by the time I found some clothes and put them on, and ran down there, walked up the three flights of stairs, there would probably only be 10 or 15 min. left. So i just went on my computer. And Adam was logged on in the lab that our class is held in, so he let me know what was going on. Well andyway, I gotta work tonight 4-12, and I'd just like to congratulate Tara on single handedly defeating the giant cricket type thing that even shadow (her cat) was afraid of. I didn't like it much either, but it ran away from me, so I couldn't kill it. In other news... I need to put up a new Fun Fact so here goes... Fun Fact #2: Americans, on the average, eat 18 acres of pizza a day. Have a nice summer!
