Brilliant...

Let's take a step back into the history books of my life.

Kevin was my friend who lived around the corner, I could get to his house by trudging through people's backyards. Which old people love by the way. Kevin and I were friends from the time we moved there when I was 3 yrs. old, until we moved away when I was 7yrs. old. We did a lot of mischievous things together. I wanted a sandbox and he had one, so we loaded up the Tycho (I believe that was the brand) dump truck and brought one load at a time from his sandbox to the small concrete slab inadvertently put in the middle of our backyard. Now, the most famous of all of our adventures came a bit later. I'd say we were 5yrs. old. We desperately wanted to make ice cubes, I still do this day have no idea why we wanted to do it. But the important thing for history is that we did. We proved something that day, the thinking of 5 yr. olds is humorous, but usually not too incredibly rational. It was, let's say July, it was around 75 to 80 degrees outside, we grabbed an ice cube tray from somewhere. The fact that there was an ice cube tray lying around could have altered history, thank God for whoever decided not to put it away. Well, anyway, we proved that by putting water in an ice cube tray and setting it outside you will not get ice cubes. The tray in fact has nothing to do with the ice cube making process, other than the shape of said ice cubes. Which led us to our next experiment of making funny shaped ice cubes...

But anyway...

It's hard to write a funny post, I just got a call from my mom in the middle of it, if you don't know I'm going there today and coming back tomorrow. Well, my step-dad is on a vacation with a bunch of friends that he goes on every year and she said he's coming home today. Which is odd because he wasn't supposed to be home until tomorrow. So I said to her, "that's odd he wasn't supposed to be home until tomorrow." Well, now the bad news, apparently when she was at the doctor yesterday she had a "bad" mamogram and she has to go back. She almost started crying on the phone because my step-dad isn't there. I don't know... this could be an interesting trip home. I don't know if interesting is the correct word. I'm surprised I finished that post above, well anyway, I have to go. I'll let ya know when I know something.

It's Tyco. Tycho is the dude from Penny Arcade, who by the way, is mentioned in my blog. :-) KLsnow.blogspot.com
