Ba dup boot...

What to write about. Hmm. So many possibilities, I'll just start rambling, after all that is the name of the blog isn't it? So, Tara's coming on Thursday night. :) She'll be here for the weekend, and Joe, Tara, and I are going to a Death Cab For Cutie concert on Saturday night in Minneapolis. That will be fun. Tonight I'm going to play softball at 7, hopefully I won't hurt myself again. Earlier today, I was laying on my bed talking to Tara, after I hung up the phone, a few minutes before 2, I fell asleep for about 15 minutes. I woke up and went, whoa, I should set an alarm if I'm gonna nap. So I didn't. And I woke up at 2:49, 11 minutes before my chem lab started in a building on the other end of campus on the fourth floor. I made it, only 1 minute late, no idea how. That was my brilliant maneuver for the day. I'm sure something will happen with softball that I could write about later. And if not, then you won't see anything, ha! simple as that. And I still have a headache, kind of, for almost 2 days now. It's quite annoying. Well, I gotta get going, homework to do before softball. Have a nice summer!

EC in the summertime..

In theory it's a good idea. No parents, lot's of money from work. Take some extra credits. WRONG! The reality of it all is that until the two of my room mates that are staying for the summer return, I'm going to be bored out of my mind! I've looked in the fridge like 50 times in the last 10 minutes. I watched a movie that was a good way to kill a couple hours, but I just keep thinking, until I start class monday, what can I do in my spare time?? So, any ideas, let me know. RIP Mitch

Mitch Hedberg was found dead in his hotel room yesterday morning. What a sad day. December 27th 2003 David, Mark, and I went to the Rosemont theater in Rosemont, IL. Very near to Chicago. We had tickets to see Lewis Black, Dave Attell, and "Special Guest." I don't think any of us knew who the special guest was, until he was announced. That was probably the coolest part of the trip, not only did we get to see Lewis and Dave, but Mitch Hedberg as special guest. I'm so glad we got to see him. If I remember correctly David and I were going to see him again, but it didn't work out. Now I really wish that would've worked. Anyway, I would like to commemorate this as Mitch Hedberg weekend. I'll put a random Mitch Hedberg joke up as often as I feel like doing. At least one per day. What a terrible loss to the comedy community, you'll be missed.

Philosophy makes me think funny...

"Treat everyone the way you would like to be treated." We've all heard it hundreds of times, but have any of us ever stopped to think about it?? Now, if this were actually something that most everybody lived by, then it would be great to be a complete ass. Bear with me. Theoretically, nobody should treat you badly because they won't want to be treated badly themselves. So in theory, if you were a complete ass to everyone, they would still have to be nice to you if they lived by this rule. Still good advice?? Damn you philosophy... Have a nice summer!
